Rachel, the heart behind Harp and Timbrel, worked with us for a brand expansion project! Her Etsy shop was thriving with custom wood products, and she loved creating every piece. But Rachel’s vision was bigger—she dreamed of expanding into journals, t-shirts, and maybe even a podcast. The challenge? Her brand identity wasn’t built for that next chapter. With just one existing logo, she needed a brand expansion to add the assets and visual flexibility that would carry her into new products and audiences.
Our team guided her through a strategic, step-by-step process:
Step 1: Strategy Call
We kicked off with a collaborative call to understand Rachel’s goals and the heart of her business. Her priority was keeping Harp and Timbrel’s authenticity while opening the door for growth.
Step 2: Mood Board
We created a mood board that captured her desire for a brand that felt happy, encouraging, and genuine. Rachel loved the touch of pink and luckily it aligned with her dream client: Christian women searching for devotionals.

Step 3: The Final Brand Expansion Board
From there, we developed a suite of submarks to complement her original logo. This brand expansion gave her the versatility she needed to create cohesive designs across products. We could already imagine her new submarks embossed on the cover of a gorgeous notebook—a natural bridge between her woodwork roots and her new product ideas.

Working with Rachel was a joy—her authenticity and heart for people shine through every detail.
